Because it persists across visits, land_aid is distinct from the session identifier described in 2.3, which is lost when you close the tab. Disabling them will not prevent you from using the Service, but some features may be limited.

2.3 Analytics Cookies

These are used to analyze and improve how the Service is used.

Our own measurement: We store a randomly generated session identifier in your browser so that a single visit — from opening a browser tab until you close it — can be understood as one unit. It contains no personally identifying information, is lost when you close the tab, and is not carried over to your next visit. It is never shared with third parties. This identifier is stored regardless of your choice in the cookie banner, because it is first-party measurement that is never passed to anyone else. To stop it, opt out of analytics in the Privacy section of your settings; if you opt out, we do not retain this identifier.

Third-party analytics services: We use analytics services such as Google Analytics. These are only used with the user's explicit consent.

2.4 Performance Cookies

These cookies are used for performance monitoring and error detection. They are only used with user consent.

2.5 Advertising Cookies

These cookies are used for ad delivery. They are only used with user consent. We use Google AdSense. Examples of cookies used:

  • IDE (DoubleClick): Ad delivery and measurement
  • NID (Google): User preferences and ad customization
  • __gads (Google): Ad delivery optimization
