Land Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy (hereinafter "this Policy") describes how Land (hereinafter "the Service") handles personal information. By using the Service, you are deemed to have agreed to this Policy.

2. Information We Collect

2.4 Payment Information

Payment processing is handled through an external payment service (Stripe). We do not store credit card numbers or other payment details.

2.5 Contact Information

We collect information submitted through the contact form (name, email address, message content), as well as the requester's IP address (stored only as a hashed value) for abuse prevention purposes.

3. Purpose of Use

We use collected information for the following purposes:

  1. Service Provision: File management, search, AI features, account authentication and management
  2. Service Improvement: Usage analysis, performance optimization, new feature development
  3. Support: Responding to inquiries, technical support, sending important notifications
  4. Security: Detecting and preventing unauthorized use and access
  5. Legal Compliance: Responding to legal requirements, dispute resolution

4. AI and User Data

  1. We do not use User files or metadata for AI model training.
  2. AI features are processed independently for each User.
  3. We have entered into agreements with external AI services (Cloudflare Workers AI, Google Gemini, etc.) that prohibit the use of User data for training purposes.

5. Data Storage Location

The Service operates on Cloudflare's global network, and User data is stored and processed on Cloudflare's edge infrastructure. We do not designate or guarantee storage in any specific region.

After account deletion, User Content will be deleted within 30 days. However, immediate deletion from backups is not guaranteed due to technical constraints; data contained in backups will be deleted within a reasonable period.

7. User Rights

Users may exercise the following rights in accordance with applicable laws:

8. Data Sharing with Third-Party Services

The Service uses the following third-party services:

We may disclose information to third parties not listed above when required by law or when necessary to protect our rights, property, or safety.

9. Use of Cookies

The Service uses cookies and similar technologies. To keep your assignment in product-improvement experiments (A/B tests) consistent, we store a long-lived anonymous identifier named land_aid in a cookie or in localStorage. It contains no personally identifying information.

We also store a randomly generated session identifier in your browser so that a single visit — from opening a browser tab until you close it — can be understood as one unit. This identifier contains no personally identifying information, is lost when you close the tab, and is not carried over to your next visit. We use it to recognise activity before signing in and activity after signing in as the same visit, and it is never shared with third parties. If you opt out of analytics in your settings, we do not retain this identifier.

10. Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for individuals under the age of 16. If we become aware that a person under 16 is using the Service, we will delete the relevant account and data.

11. Security Measures

We implement reasonable security measures to protect personal information, including encryption of communications (TLS), password hashing, and access controls. However, we cannot guarantee complete security for information transmitted over the Internet.

12. International Data Transfers

The Service is operated from Japan. If you access the Service from outside Japan, your data may be transferred to Japan.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may change this Policy at any time. The revised Policy shall take effect upon posting on the Service. We will provide advance notice for significant changes.
